How to play. Five battles a day from a pool of over 100, with no repeats until you've seen them all. Tap where you think each one was fought and lock it in. You score up to 1,000 points a battle, less the further away you land: within 50 km scores over 800, and 500 km away scores under 150. The rivers, capitals and the large faded names of the Han provinces are there to help you find your bearings. Dotted lines show today's provinces and dashed lines today's national borders, for anyone who knows the modern map better. After each pin, the map shades in Wei, Shu and Wu as they stood around 230; before 220 those kingdoms didn't exist yet, so treat it as a rough guide to who later held the ground. Locations follow the most widely accepted modern sites; a few, like Red Cliffs and Jieting, are still argued over.
